Praised for their innovative and anarchic reinvention of the classics, The Jamie Lloyd Company propels Christopher Marlowe’s legendary tale DOCTOR FAUSTUS into the here and now in an explosive and magical new production starring Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) in his long-awaited return to the London stage.
Faustus makes a pact with the Devil, selling his soul in return for the ability to perform absolutely anything he pleases with the power of black magic. This fatal decision catapults him into an intoxicating world of celebrity, as he becomes a world-renowned conjuror, international heartthrob and friend of the rich, famous and powerful. But what is the cost of his insatiable thirst for wealth and fame?
With blackly comic new scenes by Colin Teevan and dynamic stage illusions, the story of this 400-year-old play is transported to a celebrity-obsessed society of greed and instant gratification, offering a fresh, new perspective that chimes with our times.
Please Note; contains themes of an adult nature, scenes of sexual violence and nudity.

I thought it was amazing. Not only an excellent cast and script but visually stunning too. Mephistopheles doing karaoke was brilliant. Thank you for making my trip to London such a pleasure. ??
The most special play I 've ever seen. It's nice to see kit in theatre
Fantastic. Cast were brilliant.
It was brilliant!! Unhinged, provocative, hysterical and a bit naughty. Incredible score/sound track as well. Altogether a delightful piece of theatre. Even if the theatregoers had to navigate the GOT fandom craziness ;)!!
I absolutely LOVED the show! The theatre is gorgeous, the staff is helpful and kind, and I got a strong drink for a good price. I will certainly return the next time I'm in London!
This performance was awesome, the lighting effects and quality of acting were incredible and the modern input in the middle broke it up nicely while keeping true to the original play
Fantastic.Kit Harrington is amazing and the rest of the actors are faboulous too
We thought it was a great production within a genius mix of old text and modern context. Mephistopheles and Lucifer stole the show!
An accessible, dark and modern interpretation of Marlowe's Faustus. The chorus were a ghostly, omnipresent influence on Faustus' life and decisions adding horror and comedy throughout-at times a little over done, but a constant reminder of the decisions and wrong turns the main character made. Harrington's interpretation was suitably twisted & naive. Thoroughly enjoyable.
A really great production with incredible acting. Innovative ideas added the the excitement and made the play even more enthralling. Slight annoyances were that there are not enough female toilets and that people who were late were permitted to enter the theatre and get to their seats during the production rather than waiting until the interval.
Honestly the best thing I've seen on stage.
Amazing play! All cast members really gave their all in their performance and the blend of historical and contemporary elements to the play made it a joy to watch.
