I move clockwise. You move counter clockwise. In the middle we meet. We kiss.
Ella is from Yorkshire. Haseeb is from London. They order a pizza. House red for Ella. Hot chocolate for Haseeb.
‘I think I’m falling in love with you.’
People and playlists. Christmas and Eid. Travelcards and Megabuses. London to Leeds. Love is more than just a game for two. Especially when there’s an elephant in the room.
A tender, funny, lyrical play about finding love and holding onto it with everything you’ve got. I Wanna Be Yours is the debut play from Zia Ahmed. The show is fully BSL integrated.
I Wanna Be Yours was developed with support from the Channel 4 Playwrights’ Scheme.

We loved the three actors and the way they interacted with each other (the signing was great and added a lot.) Some huge themes covered in a short space of time, and just a very joyful experience. Thanks!
A bit obsessive about 'difference' for me. The couple had a 'good thing going'... Perhaps the end should have seen them rise above the opinions of others - thereby creating a positive message as opposed to the current ending...
Intimate venue/performance which made you feel almost part of the play. Well acted, easily understood with some relevent issues handled in a thought provoking way. Left feeling how others might perceive my actions which I wouldn't have thought about previously. Seating a bit uncomfortable but understandable in a community environment, very accessible from tube, nice lively bar area. Well done.
