The Spy In The Stalls
Stage Traffic Productions and Eilene Davidson present the world premiere of The Girl Who Fell, a powerful new play by Sarah Rutherford, former Writer in Residence at Park Theatre and writer of sell-out hit Adult Supervision.
“It seems wrong that she experienced something so huge without me.
Like if your kids had sex before you did.”
Teenager Sam’s dead.
After some social media foolishness.
And everyone says it’s her mum’s fault.
When bereaved mother Thea sets off on a mission to find out why her daughter Sam is dead, she is joined in her journey by bickering teen twins Lenny and Billie, plus Gil — a lost-soul whose life collides with theirs in a way that can only ever get messy.
This poignant and darkly funny play about loss, guilt and snapchat, stars Navin Chowdhry (Gil), Rosie Day (Billie), Will Fletcher (Lenny) and Claire Goose (Thea), and runs for a strictly limited season at Trafalgar Studios from 15 October – 23 November.
Special notes
This production contains simulated drug use and needles.

Fabulously play superbly written and acted
Excellent vehicle to explain and bring to the surface “bullying”. Well done
Provocative issues and interpersonal dynamics very well acted. Perhaps a bit over-written; more twists and revelations than were helpful or necessary.
My only grievance is that the lady who played the teenager is way, way too beautiful. It was distracting.
Great play! I was really very pleased with the performance.
Very good characters and acting by all especially Claire
I really enjoyed, the cast was great, good acting and all was great. I am really sorry there were not so many people in audience as it is a great play! Thank you to all!
Amazing actors, in an intimate theatre, addressing v timely themes.
Actors worked really hard in this performance but the story was a bit dry. Would have been great if there was a bit more focus on why Sam actually killed herself in my view. Also a little more character development would have been great.
A surprise in a small venue. Enjoyable. Good venue
very well acted
A little too long and a little far fetched at times. The two younger actors were very good.
