Starring Amber Davies* (Strictly Come Dancing, The Great Gatsby and Pretty Woman) as Elle Woods, Legally Blonde The Musical is the ultimate feel-good rom-com, based on the beloved, award-winning film starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Coolidge.

Follow Elle as she swaps the Californian coast for the halls of Harvard Law, only to discover she’s seriously underestimated. Packed with hit songs, iconic choreography and plenty of pink, this hilarious musical proves that ‘being true to yourself never goes out of style’.

From the team behind the record-breaking revival of Kinky Boots, with award-winning director Nikolai Foster (Grease, The Wizard of Oz) Legally Blonde The Musical arrives at the London Coliseum for just 9 weeks from 22 March 2027.

Legally Blonde the Musical returns to the West End after more than 15 years

Ohmigod, you guys! Legally Blonde the Musical is returning to the West End! The Olivier Award-winning musical will play at the London Coliseum from 22 March to 22 May 2027, marking its first West End run in more than 15 years. Amber Davies leads the musical as Elle Woods, returning to the Coliseum after starring in last year's The Great Gatsby. The production is currently touring the UK, where it has been met with 5-star reviews (what, like it’s hard?). The musical concludes at Theatre Royal Brighton on 2 January 2027, before it packs up its pink suitcases and heads to London for its West End run. With music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach, Legally Blonde the Musical is based on Amanda Brown’s 2001 novel and the hit film of the same name, starring Reese Witherspoon.

On my third trip to Legally Blonde I was amazed to see that it had improved from my previous visit. This show has unfortunately got its closing notice and at first I wasn’t surprised because of the slipping standard, but this time it was a much stronger and greatly improved performance.

NATALIE CASEY JOINS THE CAST OF THE OLIVIER AWARD WINNING LEGALLY BLONDE

From 26 April 2011 Natalie Casey will join the west end cast of the Olivier award-wining Legally Blonde The Musical to play ditzy beautician Paulette Buonofonté.  She joins Susan McFadden as Elle Woods, Carley Stenson as Margot, Nicola Brazil as Serena, Siobhan Dillon as Vivienne and Peter Davison as Professor Callahan.   Natalie Casey takes over the role from Denise Van Outen, whose last performance will be Saturday 23 April.  From mid-June Lee Mead will join the west end cast to play Emmett Forrest at the Savoy Theatre.
